Upward Sports, the world’s largest Christian sports program for children, was created with a vision to  provide the best sports experience possible for every child. Upward Sports started as a single church basketball league and basketball has been our most popular sport ever since! Young basketball players can chart their own athletic journeys through multiple levels of programming – all while being developed into total athletes mentally, athletically, spiritually, and socially.

The combined ministry efforts of Valley Baptist & First Baptist Searcy are very excited as we continue to offer the Searcy and surrounding communities Upward Basketball! Upward Basketball Leagues offer an extended, multi-month opportunity for character-building, player development, and the formation of deep relationships between teammates and coaches. Players will develop a love for basketball and a healthy competitive spirit and discover skills necessary to succeed both on and off the court. The game format and rules are designed to teach the game at an age specific level that grows with each young athlete.
